These data were collected by Dr. Danielle Palow and students at the Trinity University in Spring 2024.
Beetles reared at on adzuki beans (N=11), mung beans (N=7), or black-eyed peas (N=4)  were sampled. Two negative controls are included.
Where sex was recorded, beetles were females. 
Beetles were almost certainly mated.
Beetles were from the LB strain.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
