These data were collected by Dr. Danielle Palow and students at the Trinity University in Spring 2024.
Either adults (N=7) or larvae (N=4) were sampled. Two negative controls are included.
Beetles were reared on black-eyed peas.
All adult beetles were females. Larvae cannot be sexed based on external morphology.
Adult beetles were almost certainly mated.
Beetles were from the LB strain.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
