These data were collected by Dwann Davenport at Morehouse College in Spring 2024.
Beetles were offspring reared on blackeye peas(N=6)and adzuki beans (N=7)whose mothers host bean was blackeye peas.  Data set also includes one negative control.
Beetles were from the SI-3 strain adapted to their host bean for many generations prior to eggs laid on either blackeye peas or adzuki beans.
Beetles were adult of unknown sex.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
Metadata and Sequence Sample ID notation is "Mothers host.Offspring host".
