These data were collected by Ethell Vereen at Morehouse College in Spring 2024.
Beetles were offspring reared on blackeye peas(N=11)and adzuki beans (N=10)whose mothers host bean was adzuki beans.  Data set also includes one negative control.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host bean for many generations prior to eggs laid on either blackeye peas or adzuki beans.
Beetles were adults, males and females.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
