These data were collected by Robert Grier and Wallace Sharif at Morehouse College in Spring 2024.
Beetles were reared on mung beans(N=5), green peas (N=4), blackeye peas (N=5), and adzuki beans (N=5).  Data set also includes two negative controls.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host bean for many generations.
Beetles were adult females from blackeye peas and adzuki beans but unknown sex from mung beans and green peas.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs in the same run for all the data.
