These data were collected by Dr. Kayleigh O'Keefe and students at Lehigh University in Spring 2024.
Beetles were reared on black-eyed peas, mung beans, or adzuki beans and collected from mass culture. Beetles were all females. Beetles from BEP (N=5), adzuki bean (N=6), and mung beans (N=11) were collected.  Data set also includes one negative controls.
Beetles were almost certainly mated.
Beetles were adults.
Beetles were from the LB strain reared on their respective hosts for multiple generations.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
