These data were collected by Heidy Contreras at California State University San Bernardino in Fall 2023.
Beetles were reared on Blackeye peas (N=4) or Hyacinth beans (N=6).  Data set includes one negative control.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host beans for many generations.
Beetles were adult both males and females, or not recorded.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
