These data were collected by Melissa Stanukinas at Morton College in Fall 2023.
Beetles were reared on organically grown Blackeye peas (N=7) or traditionally grown Blackeye peas (N=5).  Data set does not include a negative control.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host beans for many generations.
Beetles were adult both males and females, or not recorded.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
