These data were collected by Dr. Ethell Vereen and students at Morehouse College in Fall 2021.
Beetles were reared on black-eyed peas (N=8)and garbanzo bean (chickpeas) (N=6).  Data set also includes a negative control (N=1).
Beetles were all from mass cultures.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host bean for many generations.
Beetles were females.
Beetles were adults.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
