Beetles were reared on black-eyed peas and mung beans. 

Beetles were from the LB strain and adapted to their host bean for many generations.

Beetles were males and females.

Beetles were adults.

Beetles were surface-sterilized.

Beetles were extracted with 

Sequences are for the v4 region.

MiSeq sequencing was done by GA Tech.
