These data were collected by students at Case Western Reserve University in Spring 2022. 

Beetles were reared on black-eyed peas (N=6) or garbanzo beans (N=6).

Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host bean for many generations.

Beetles were both male and females.

Beetles were adults.

Beetles were surface-sterilized.

Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.

Sequences are for the v4 region.

MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
