These data were collected by Dr. Melissa Stanukinas and students at Morton College in Spring 2024.
Beetles were reared on organic or traditionally raised black-eyed peas and collected from mass culture. Beetles were all females. Beetles from organic BEP (N=8) and traditional BEP (N=8).
Beetles were almost certainly mated.
Beetles were adults.
Beetles were from the LB strain reared on their respective hosts for multiple generations.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
