These data were collected by Dr. Ethell Vereen and Dr. Terrence Gardner and students at Morehouse College in Spring 2023.
Virgin adult beetles were reared on pigeon peas. Males (N=8) and females (N=11) were collected.  Data set also includes two negative controls.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host bean for many generations.
Beetles were adults and virgin. Beans with eggs isolated in tissue culture plate wells prior to emergence.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
