These data were collected by Dr. Lawrence Blumer and students at Morehouse College in Spring 2022.
Beetles were reared on blackeye peas and collected from mass culture. Males (N=10) and females (N=10) were collected.  Data set also includes one negative controls.
Beetles were almost certainly mated.
Beetles were from the LB strain adapted to their host bean for many generations.
Beetles were adults.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
Sequences are for the v4 region.
MiSeq sequencing was done by MrDNA labs.
